On Monday, August 8, 2011, the Niagara Junior Tour stopped at St. Catharines Golf & Country Club for the 2nd Annual Kids Golfing for Kids Junior Tournament presented by Walker Industries. The Junior Tour golfers competed both on the greens and off, raising money for Child Advocacy Centre Niagara. Over $7,000 was raised by the golfers, including $915 by top fundraiser Lucia Leone. Just over one week later, St. Catharines Golf & Country Club hosted their annual Pro/Am in support of the Centre. An additional $7,500 was raised through the live auction and from proceeds of tournament registration. Thanks to the generous support of all participants and sponsors, the Kids Golfing for Kids signature event series raised a record $45,000, eclipsing last year's total by over $16,000.

The list is incredibly long ranging from electronics, family outings, sports memorabilia and golf equipment. We are tremendously grateful. Of course, we also thank Drew Smythe and his team at St. Catharines Golf & Country Club for their continued support.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude. CACN is fortunate to be part of the Niagara community and to have such compassionate sponsors, donors, partners and volunteers.
